Linda Garnett

Linda Garnett is the co-founder of Stellar Partnerships, a corporate strategist and one of Australia’s leading specialists in corporate nonprofit partnerships.

Before moving into the nonprofit sector, Linda spent more than 20 years in senior corporate leadership roles across the UK, Canada, Japan and Australia. She led billion-dollar deals, developed new business strategies and built partnerships across complex organisations. Then she got tired of trying to buy the world and decided she’d rather help save it.

Linda has since worked with organisations including Save the Children, headspace, World Vision, Cancer Council and febfast. She brings a rare corporate perspective to partnership strategy, helping nonprofits understand what businesses value and build partnerships that deliver meaningful commercial and social outcomes.

Linda is the co-author of Partnerships Reimagined and co-creator of Stellar’s corporate partnership frameworks and training programs.

Meet the team

Sharon Dann

Sharon Dann is the co-founder of Stellar Partnerships and one of Australia’s leading corporate partnership consultants for nonprofits.

She has worked in fundraising and corporate partnerships since 2001, beginning as a backpacking fundraiser before starting her own face-to-face fundraising business later that year. Her experience spans major gifts, trusts and foundations, partnership strategy, acquisition, pricing, proposals and partnership growth.

While at Save the Children UK, Sharon developed the corporate partnership strategy behind Christmas Jumper Day, securing multimillion-dollar partnerships with businesses including John Lewis, Westfield, Morrisons and Asda.

Today, Sharon helps Australian nonprofits turn partnership ambition into something commercially credible and practical. She is particularly good at finding the real problem underneath a stalled partnership program and fixing the proposition, strategy or capability rather than simply demanding more prospecting.

Sharon is the co-author of Partnerships Reimagined and co-creator of Stellar’s corporate partnership frameworks and training programs.
