Meet the team
Sharon Dann
Sharon Dann has been in love with fundraising and the not for profit sector for almost two decades. Starting her career in 2001 as a backpacking fundraiser, later the same year she started own face-to-face fundraising business. Her breadth of experience also encompasses major gifts, trusts and foundations and 10 years specialising in Corporate Partnerships.
She is an expert in winning, nurturing and growing corporate partnerships, raising millions of dollars for the organisations she has worked with. Whilst at Save the Children UK, she devised and implemented the partnership strategy for the hugely popular ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ campaign. This was successful in securing multi-million dollar partnerships with John Lewis, Westfield, Morrison’s supermarket, Asda and many more.
She is passionate about improving the capability of the sector and wants to help you find the solution to your organisation’s complex problems using corporate partnerships as the vehicle to achieve not only your strategy but to transform your organisation. She has worked with small and large organisations, including Oxfam, Save the Children, Fred Hollows, Amnesty International, Children’s Cancer Institute, Starlight Children’s Foundation, and many others.
When she isn’t bringing charities and corporates together you will find her cheering for Liverpool Football Club, trying (unsuccessfully) to get her baby girl to sleep and drinking copious amounts of red wine (purely for health reasons).
